In working with our ancestors, we see who our ancestors were.  We see the accomplishments they had in their lives, we learn how we could integrate their wisdom or how we could nurture that in ourselves.  Through this process we gain clarity about our life’s purpose.

We can also see where our ancestors would benefit from healing and forgiveness. We will offer atonement to the negative karma of old. This healing creates a ripple among living family members who may suddenly reconcile after years of disagreement or restore overlooked blessings. 

Another benefit of engaging healing with your ancestors is you can catalyze healing breakthroughs in your family including establishing appropriate boundaries with living relatives.

Our healed ancestors are able to transform historical trauma relating to race, gender, religion, war and other types of collective pain.   We journey to our Ancestors that came to America to heal the pain of their encounters here.  Ancestors may have caused the pain, been a victim to pain or a bit of both.  We will help our Ancestors and ourselves to heal the lineage burden of this land, bringing healing to our families and giving our country with unity and wisdom.

Health benefits of kids if all ages!

Drumming is an excellent way for children to learn self-awareness, listening skills, coordination of breath and movement, cooperation and patience. It’s a very healthy way for them to develop.

It is also a valuable channel for intense emotions and teaches containment of strong feelings and impulses that would otherwise become disruptive and destructive. For example if children have low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, defiant behavior, learning disabilities, attention deficit disorder or simply an abundance of energy, drumming therapy can be a valuable aid to learning and growth.

The beauty of this Heart Chakra Vortex is that it is not on public rader. Here we can enjoy the peace, healing and tranquility this space has to offer. This amazing canyon was carved out in the last great ice age in the Bonneville flood.

This Heart Chakra Center holds the healing of Nature (7 Nations) and the Angels.

We offer healing experiences to small groups or one on one. The experience can include: Silence, journaling, shamanic ceremony, meditation, breath work, walking, drumming, etc. We can customize your experience to the focus of your group.

We drive down into the canyon, feeling the subtle shift of energy as the ancient ones welcome us. We hike around the ancient cliffs into an open rock oasis. Being with the ancient boulders, we sit and listen to their wisdom. We welcome the Angels to open our Heart Space and gift us healing.

In the heart chakra center we allow ourselves to come into the unconditional love of the angels and expand our self-awareness into our lives.

We will go on a meditation that cleanses, refreshes and rebalances the energy in each of our chakras with the earth energies of the 7 Nations.

We will also focus on the heart chakra opening the energy of this heart space to angelic love. This experience will leave you feeling blissful, euphoric and peaceful.

We will walk approximately 2-3 miles total. There will be times of rest and time for you to explore.

The Heart Chakra calls many to the Treasure Valley. We’ve had quite the population boom! Many have said they ‘had’ to move here, and they're not sure why. ;)

Mindful practices to improve your entire wellbeing!

In our one hour practice, we will explore many types of meditation and the art of mindfulness.

Breathing Meditations

Focuses on our breath and using our breath for relaxation and healing. We’ll engage in several exercises to become aware of our breath, body and thoughts.

Mindfulness Meditations

The mind is an amazing tool. Sometimes it can be difficult to shut off or focus. Mindfulness meditation helps us to navigate our mind and shift it on purpose. We will be paying attention to our thoughts and learning how to refocus our attention.

Movement Meditation or Walking Meditations

Being mindful of our body while in motion. Movement meditation (just as seated meditation) boils down to presence. The key is to hone into the moment with awareness, which you can practice anywhere and anytime.

Mantra Meditations

Repeating a specific affirmation over and over to create it on all levels of our consciousness.

Everyday we put all kinds of thoughts and information into our minds consciously and unconsciously. To create a lasting thought, belief or story, we repeat that to ourselves 10,000 times. With Mantra Meditation we choose the thoughts we want to create with an affirmation or mantra. Repeating Mantra everyday will change your outlook about yourself and life.

Mindfulness meditation offers both physical and mental health benefits, including stress reduction through Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR), alleviation of conditions like anxiety, depression, and chronic pain, and lowered heart rates which help prevent heart disease. Furthermore, it can enhance immune function compared to exercise and improve sleep quality, even resolving certain sleep issues.

Sweat lodge

A very ancient ritual practiced in different forms by peoples in all areas of the world, the sacred or ceremonial sweat lodge is available today as an opportunity for release, reconnection, relaxation, and renewal of body, mind and spirit.

Through singing and drumming around the fire, one connects with the energies and the elements of the natural world. We honor the energy of the 7 nations: Stone (Shoka) Fire (Kata) Water (Loma) Air (Arrai) Creatures (Asharaji) Plants (Pranna) and the Earth (Asha). With sacred herbal smudge, one is blessed, cleansed and protected. Kneeling and entering the woven willow lodge, one bows and speaks a word of gratitude to earth mother and all the helpful energies of nature present in this sacred place. Sitting upon the earth, singing as each participant joins the circle, and as the rocks are brought in, time begins to stand still.

Blessed water over heated rocks creates a loving enclosure of steam and heat. As sweat pours from the body; toxins, worries and fears are released and transformed. Gradually, the endless chatter of busy minds and over-extended brains slows down and dissipates. With the gift of silence one can begin to hear the quiet voice within, a voice which gently, lovingly speaks the Truths of Spirit – that we are all the beloved children of the Great Spirit Beingness and that love, joy, peace, light and abundant, enthusiastic life (The 5 truths of Spirit) are freely available to each one of us. Soon the body opens up and the heart is full of light. Now joy and love can break free, no longer boxed in by daily routines and the complexity and stress of modern life.

Emerging from the lodge after thanksgiving , it is as if one is reborn. There is time to rest, to breathe with earth and sky and the feelings of health and vitality that now course through the body. Celebrating the abundance of all life, a potluck meal is shared. This completes the experience as once more in a sacred circle, all join hands to bless both the food and those who contributed to bringing it to the table.

Our lodges follow the energy and teachings of the Tao and the traditions of Slavic, Celtic and European Ancestors. Sweat Lodge ceremony has been used globally as a form of healing for many, many lifetimes and we hold our lodge ceremony in high regard for all traditions. If you have a lodge tradition you follow, please talk to the lodge leader well in advance to see if it is appropriate for all lodge goers' highest good. Private healing circles w/lodges are available.

MeeshaKeena, Antelope Medicine Woman

Is a fully initiated Antelope Shaman and Lodge Holder. She has been offering the gift of the sweat lodge over 20 years, after many years of training. She currently has students learning to fire keep and hold the space of the lodge.

What is sweat lodge

The sacred rite of purification and healing through sweat lodge is a custom to many cultures. The Sweat Lodge represents the sacred womb of Mother Earth. It is a sacred place to reconnect to the earth, your body, a place to let your spirit fly.

Our Lodge

The frame is constructed from the sacrifice of grandmother willow, who bends her beautiful boughs into the frame. The frame is covered loosely in blankets, the center holds heated lava rocks. The rocks are heated in an exterior fire pit.

Preparation

Creating Mindfulness

Come to the healing circle and lodge ceremony in a mindful space as possible.

To prepare for ceremony, spend some time contemplating what is drawing you to the ceremony. Perhaps you know or just feel you need to be part.

If you are under the care of a physician, please speak directly to MeeshaKeena at least on week prior. (including Prescription drugs).

Detox your body from alcohol, marijuana, or other intoxicants at least one week prior.

Increase water gradually 3 days prior. Pounding water right before lodge isn’t very effective, nor is it mindful preparation.

Eat one light, plant based meal the day of circle, no later than 4 hours prior. Lighten meat and sugar 3 days before.

Remember you are preparing for Sacred Ceremony. Detoxing the body, mind and spirit will help you have a deeper experience and clarity. With sacrifice comes rewards of spirit. (bring questions to MeeshaKeena)

What to Bring

2 towels (one to sit on in the lodge)

A sarong or other garments that you would be comfortable in a sauna with. (ie swimsuit, short cotton dress, t-shirt, etc.) These clothes will be wet when you leave the lodge. We will have a time to change into our lodge clothes, please wear clothes for the weather outside.

Breaking Fast

Breaking the Fast and Sharing of Food is a required time of the lodging Ceremony.

This is a time we integrate the energies of the lodge, get to know each other and fully return to the body. If you “have” to run home and don’t have the time for the full process, this is not the time to come to circle.

Bring something to share that is vegetarian, very little gluten, dairy or sugar. If you have specific dietary needs, please bring a dish you enjoy eating.

Water (drink plenty prior - homemade electrolyte drinks are amazing)

Electrolyte Water

Ingredients

1 ½-2 cups water

Juice of ½ lemon

1/8 to 1/4 tsp real sea salt Himalayan salt, or Celtic sea salt

2 tsp raw honey local if possible.

Instructions Everything into a jar with a lid and shake well to combine.

This recipe fits perfect in a pint mason jar. Store in the fridge up to a week.

Walking the Wheel Lodge and Teaching Circle

We will meet in person once a month to walk the wheel and learn the different energies of the seasons, our spirit animal, the seven nations, to interact with our ancestors and angels.

Our group will commit for 12 months with the option to continue. Mostly sweat lodge/outdoor experiences 6-8 hours. Once a quarter for a full day out in nature.

2 weeks after our time together, we’ll meet on a group zoom call. (Appx 1 hour)

Vision Quest Summer 2025 (7 days total)

First meeting is welcoming the energy of the season. We'll turn the wheel into spring and welcome balance of light and dark.

We will connect with our angel and the Four Archangels.

We will meet our walks beside/animal totem we will walk with for the year.

If you are interested in deepening your connection in multi-dimensional spaces (shamanic journeying), your connection to the earth or looking toward shamanic initiation, this may be a good fit for you.

This training is essential if you are considering becoming a Prana Touch Practitioner!

Are you considering fire keeping? This is the first step.

Being able bodied to do the sweat lodge and some hiking outdoors is necessary.

Mindful practices to improve your entire wellbeing!

In our one hour practice, we will explore many types of meditation and the art of mindfulness.

Breathing Meditations

Focuses on our breath and using our breath for relaxation and healing. We’ll engage in several exercises to become aware of our breath, body and thoughts.

Mindfulness Meditations

The mind is an amazing tool. Sometimes it can be difficult to shut off or focus. Mindfulness meditation helps us to navigate our mind and shift it on purpose. We will be paying attention to our thoughts and learning how to refocus our attention.

Movement Meditation or Walking Meditations

Being mindful of our body while in motion. Movement meditation (just as seated meditation) boils down to presence. The key is to hone into the moment with awareness, which you can practice anywhere and anytime.

Mantra Meditations

Repeating a specific affirmation over and over to create it on all levels of our consciousness.

Everyday we put all kinds of thoughts and information into our minds consciously and unconsciously. To create a lasting thought, belief or story, we repeat that to ourselves 10,000 times. With Mantra Meditation we choose the thoughts we want to create with an affirmation or mantra. Repeating Mantra everyday will change your outlook about yourself and life.

Mindfulness meditation offers both physical and mental health benefits, including stress reduction through Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR), alleviation of conditions like anxiety, depression, and chronic pain, and lowered heart rates which help prevent heart disease. Furthermore, it can enhance immune function compared to exercise and improve sleep quality, even resolving certain sleep issues.

These offerings are not the Native American Inipi (sweat lodge) traditions.

The Sanskrit word śramaṇa, designating a wandering monastic or holy figure, has spread to many Central Asian languages along with Buddhism and could be the ultimate origin of the word shaman.

The term was adopted by Russians interacting with the Indigenous peoples in Siberia. It is found in the memoirs of the exiled Russian churchman Avvakum. It was brought to Western Europe twenty years later by the Dutch traveler Nicolaes Witsen, who reported his stay and journeys among the Tungusic- and Samoyedic-speaking Indigenous peoples of Siberia in his book Noord en Oost Tataryen (1692). Adam Brand, a merchant from Lübeck, published in 1698 his account of a Russian embassy to China; a translation of his book, published the same year, introduced the word shaman to English speakers.

Shamans continue to practice in cultures all over the world. The shaman, is the oldest spiritual practitioner, forever practicing transformative connection to all things.

It’s hard to articulate the amount of healing that has taken place over the last 12 months with my beloved AhOmShoKuWa (Walking the Wheel) circle. Not just my own, but each and every one of us. It has been such a pleasure to sink into the safety of this Sisterhood, and to alchemize a lifetime of limiting beliefs into something so pure and sacred that it leaves my cheeks tear stained. I feel elated and excited to welcome in this new year having left so much behind that no longer serves to build upon this sturdy foundation of authentic and genuine love. When you do the work to heal yourself body, mind and spirit, it has the power to heal not only the generations to come but the lineages that precede you. It is not work for the faint of heart, and sometimes feels overwhelming. I can tell you beyond a reasonable doubt however, that that is when the real magic happens. When you enter the womb of a sweat lodge your senses become heightened, you become increasingly aware of your body and the darkness becomes almost like a spotlight on your extra sensory perception. You discover things about yourself you may have never known before and witness the births and deaths of timelines as they collide and spiral through the earth. As this year of Walking the Wheel comes to a close I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I am not the same person that entered my first sweat lodge nearly 12 months ago, I don’t think any of us are… The entire process of a sweat is a sacred devotion and today my Sisters in soul and I led lodge almost entirely on our own from start to finish, it was a sight to behold and to be a part of. I am so grateful for these women and I am so proud of our growth. Life can be heavy, especially in times like these with tensions so high collectively and I find great reprieve in the work we do together every single time.

It’s been almost 2 months since our quest on Sacred Mountain, breathing in the air of the pines on this land nearly brought tears to my eyes as we walked to the prayer chapel. There is something magical that happens when you get a group of women together with the common goal of healing their lineage backwards and forwards in hopes to create ripples across the planet. It is not easy to walk between worlds, but I’m finding as I heal even deeper the ease at which it comes follows. I am deeply grateful for these women, for the magic that each of them brings to the world and for the way they have been mirrors to remind me of my own innate gifts. My heart is full!
