We focus here on other, how to work with a client in a professional manner.
We also begin our journey on using Reiki symbols and how to heal "hands-off" whether that be across the room or across the world.

Advance Reiki Training (ARTs), Master & Beyond
In one's life we cannot truly say we ever "master" the Reiki energy as we are the humble conduits for the universal life force. We can, however, move into a space where we can become more in tune with our intuition and trust the process of healing that the healing is always expressing itself for the highest good of you and your client.
We can become more and more familiar with Reiki and in tune with our own flavor of Reiki. We may want to explore using crystals, herbs, oils, angels, chakras, auras, yoga, massage, etc as an addition of the Reiki healing. During this time, we will experiment, play, practice, learn and grow together.
The guidelines for what establishes a "Reiki Master" varies from Teacher to Teacher. Ashamenta Healing Arts is committed to helping students, feel confident in their Reiki skills and guide them to their dreams of Reiki healers. Our curriculum may be more intense than the other teachers because we value your time, energy and growth on your healing path. Our attunements are in-person from Master to Student as our Grand Reiki Master, MeeshaKeena's Usui Tradition taught.
Confidence is built through experience and support. Our time will consist of meditation, teaching and practice. How deep you go, how much you learn, is truly up to you. The Universal Law of Attraction is you get what you give.
Over the course of a minimum 6 months we will be learning and practicing ART Level. After full completion of all the requirements. Once the requirements are met, we will have a day workshop of learning attunements and Reiki Master Certification. If you choose at the end of the 6 months that you would like more time to learn and practice before going on to the Master Certification you may wait until you are ready and receive your ART Certificate until that time.

Reiki Master Class Requirements
Immerse yourself in the Reiki way of Life
Start your day with Reiki Principles or similar intent of living a life of mindfulness
Conduct Daily Reiki on self for at least 30 mins working into an hour.
Commit to at least Six Months of Class/Practice time with our group.

The Attunement Process
Can Anyone Learn Reiki
The ability to learn Reiki is not dependent on intellectual capacity, nor does one have to be able to meditate. It does not take years of practice. It is simply passed on from the teacher to the student. As soon as this happens, one has Reiki. Because of this, it is easily learned by anyone. Reiki is a pure form of healing not dependent on individual talent or acquired ability. Because of this, the personality of the healer is less likely to cloud the significance of the experience. The feeling of being connected directly to Spirit's healing love and protection is clearly apparent.
The Attunement
All levels of our Reiki Attunements are done in person. Reiki is not taught in the way other healing techniques are taught. It is transferred to the student by the Reiki Master Teacher during a person to person attunement process. This process opens the crown, heart, and palm chakras and creates a special link between the student and the Reiki source. The attunement takes place on four levels, physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual.
The Reiki attunement is a powerful spiritual experience. The attunement energies are channeled into the student through the Reiki Master Teacher. The process is guided by the Rei or Spirit-consciousness and makes adjustments in the process depending on the needs of each student. The attunement is also attended by Reiki guides and other spiritual beings who help implement the process. Many report having mystical experiences involving personal messages, healings, visions, and past life experiences. The attunement can also increase psychic sensitivity. Students often report experiences involving: opening of the third eye, increased intuitive awareness, and other psychic abilities after receiving a Reiki attunement.
The initiation process, often referred to as an attunement, is a sacred and transformative ritual within the Reiki tradition. This ceremony is passed down through the Reiki lineage and performed by a Master to connect students to the universal life energy. Through the attunement, the student’s energetic channels are opened and aligned, enabling them to access and work with Reiki energy. Once you have received a Reiki attunement, you are connected to Reiki for the remainder of your life. It does not wear off, and you can never lose it. One attunement is all that is needed for each level to activate your ability at that stage, but receiving additional attunements can deepen your connection, enhance your sensitivity to the energy, and provide ongoing benefits.
While the attunement is a lifelong gift, the quality of the Reiki you transmit will depend on the quality of the life you live. Living in alignment with Reiki principles—practicing mindfulness, self-care, and compassion—keeps your energy clear and strong, allowing you to channel Reiki at its highest potential. The attunement sets the foundation, but your ongoing dedication shapes your mastery.Experimentation has found that additional attunements of the same level add to the value of that level. These benefits include refinement of the Reiki energy one is channeling, increased strength of the energy, healing of personal problems, clarity of mind, increased psychic sensitivity, and a raised level of consciousness.
The Reiki attunement can start a cleansing process that affects the physical body as well as the mind and emotions. Toxins that have been stored in the body may be released along with feelings and thought patterns that are no longer useful. Therefore, a process of purification prior to the attunement is recommended to improve the benefit one receives. See below for specific instructions on preparing for an attunement.
Preparing for an AttunementIn order to improve the results you receive during the attunement, a process of purification is recommended. This will allow the attunement energies to work more efficiently and create greater benefits for you. The following steps are optional.
Follow them as you feel guided to do so.
1. Refrain from eating meat, fowl or fish for a few days prior to the attunement. These foods often contain drugs in the form of penicillin and female hormones and toxins in the form of pesticides and heavy metals that make your system sluggish and throw it out of balance.
2. Consider a water or juice fast for one to three days especially if you already are a vegetarian or have experience with fasting.
3. Minimize your use of coffee and caffeine drinks or stop completely. They create imbalances in the nervous and endocrine systems. Use no caffeine drinks on the day of the attunement.
4. Use no alcohol for at least three days prior to the attunement.
5. Minimize or stop using sweets. Eat no chocolate.
6. If you smoke, cut back, and smoke as little as possible on the day of the attunement.
7. Meditate a half an hour a day for a least a week using a style you are familiar with or simply spend this time in silence.
8. Reduce or eliminate time watching TV, listening to the radio, and reading newspapers.
9. Go for quiet walks, spend time with nature, and get moderate exercise.
10. Give more attention to the subtle impressions and sensations within and around; contemplate their meaning.
11. Release all anger, fear, jealousy, hate, worry, etc. up to the light. Create a sacred space within and around you.
12. By receiving an attunement you will become part of a group of people who are using Reiki to heal themselves, and each other, and who are working together to heal the Earth.
You will also be receiving help from Reiki guides and other spiritual beings who are also working towards these goals. While Reiki is not a religion, you may prepare your mind with intention work and pray in a mode comfortable to you to prepare to open to higher spiritual energies and experiences.
Usui Shiki Ryoho - The Usui System of Natural Healing
Usui Shiki Ryoho, or the Usui System of Natural Healing, is a Japanese healing practice founded by Mikao Usui over 100 years ago. Usui developed Reiki through his personal journey to understand healing. The practice was introduced to Hawaii in 1937 by Hawayo Takata Sensei and has since been passed down from Master to student through teachings, defined practices, and initiation.
The word “Reiki” translates to “universal life energy.” Usui Shiki Ryoho uses this energy for healing, aiming to restore harmony and wholeness within oneself and others. It addresses all levels of being—physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and even those aspects we may not yet fully understand.
Phyllis Lei Furumoto, a former lineage bearer, described Usui Shiki Ryoho through four key aspects: healing practice, personal development, spiritual discipline, and mystic order. These aspects are supported by a central philosophy and practice called the Nine Elements.
Together, they form a system that consistently guides people on a deep journey of healing, growth, and spiritual connection. Each part of the system is essential; changing or removing elements alters its nature and creates a different form of Reiki.
At Ashamenta, we follow in the footsteps of Usui Sensei, honoring the tradition of passing Reiki from teacher to student in its purest form. Our intention is to help students cultivate an abundant, enthusiastic life that radiates through their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual selves. Nine Elements
Oral Tradition
Reiki is passed down directly from Master to student through personal interactions, including verbal teachings, energetic exchanges, and non-verbal communication. This sacred transmission ensures the authenticity of the practice.
Spiritual Lineage
The system honors the lineage of Mikao Usui, Chujiro Hayashi, Hawayo Takata, and Phyllis Lei Furumoto. Each master contributed to the evolution of Reiki, shaped by their experiences and the cultural shifts of their time. The living lineage bearer continues to embody and guide the practice.
History
The story of Reiki is shared through oral tradition, particularly in First Degree classes. It’s less about individuals and more about the journey of Reiki itself—how it has moved through the lineage and evolved into its current form.
Initiation/Attunement
This sacred ritual, passed down through the lineage, connects students to Reiki energy. Masters perform this ritual to activate the practice within the student, creating a profound energetic alignment.
Symbols
The symbols introduced in Second Degree classes and for Reiki Master certification serve as energetic keys. They unlock access to non-physical realms, expanding the practitioner’s understanding of energy and offering new ways to engage with the world.
Treatment
The treatment practice includes a series of specific hand positions held for a few minutes each. In First Degree, treatments are hands-on, focusing on the physical body. Second Degree treatments extend to distant healing, utilizing symbols to channel energy across space.
Form of Teaching
The structured teaching method ensures that the essence of Reiki is preserved. First and Second Degree classes follow a clear framework to provide a consistent, comprehensive learning experience.
