Five Magical Nights at the Ocean

October 18 - 23

Women, Magic, and Healing with the Ancestors in the Dark Womb Cave of the Mother Ocean

In the sacred stillness of the dark womb cave, where the ocean whispers its ancient songs, women have long gathered to weave magic and healing into the fabric of existence. This is the place of deep remembering, where the ancestors speak in the hush of the tides and the heartbeat of the earth.

Here, in the darkness of the primordial mother’s embrace, the veils thin, and wisdom rises from the depths like a pearl formed in the silent chambers of time. The cave is both sanctuary and initiation, a space where women reclaim the power that has always flowed through their bloodlines—the power of intuition, creation, and transformation.

Healing in this sacred space is not just personal but ancestral. As we breathe into the dark, we call forth the grandmothers who walked before us, those who held the secrets of the plants, the bones, the waters, and the stars. We remember their songs, their prayers, their courage. In this remembrance, we weave our own magic—tending the wounds of our lineage, blessing the path for those who will come after.

The mother ocean, vast and eternal, holds us as we surrender. Her waves cleanse, her depths conceal and reveal, her tides pull us into alignment with the rhythms of nature and our own becoming. In the dark womb cave, under the gaze of the ancestors, we are reborn—whole, wise, and powerful.

The Sacred Cave

For over two decades, we’ve returned to a hidden cave along the Pacific coast—a place where the veil feels thin and the land itself holds memory. Carved by time and tide, this sacred space invites stillness, deep listening, and ancestral connection. It is a place of reverence, reflection, and remembrance—where we bring our prayers, our grief, our gratitude, and our becoming. Each visit is unique, yet the cave always meets us exactly where we are.

May all women remember. May all women heal. May all women rise.

The Ancestors are Powerful Allies Ancestor healing is a spiritual and therapeutic practice focused on addressing and resolving issues, traumas or imbalances within one's lineage or family system.  The belief underlying ancestry healing is that unresolved issues from past generations affect the well-being of current family members.

We heal through:

Acknowledgment

Connection

Healing

Offerings

Rituals

Guidance

Professional Assistance

Continued Practice

The goal is to promote healing and harmony within your family system and find a sense of connection and support from your ancestors.

The ancestors are powerful allies!

In working with our ancestors, we see who our ancestors were.  We see the accomplishments they had in their lives, we learn how we could integrate their wisdom or how we could nurture that in ourselves.  Through this process we gain clarity about our life’s purpose.

We can also see where our ancestors would benefit from healing and forgiveness. We will offer atonement to the negative karma of old. This healing creates a ripple among living family members who may suddenly reconcile after years of disagreement or restore overlooked blessings.

Another benefit of engaging healing with your ancestors is you can catalyze healing breakthroughs in your family including establishing appropriate boundaries with living relatives.

Our healed ancestors are able to transform historical trauma relating to race, gender, religion, war and other types of collective pain.   We journey to our Ancestors that came to America to heal the pain of their encounters here.  Ancestors may have caused the pain, been a victim to pain or a bit of both.  We will help our Ancestors and ourselves to heal the lineage burden of this land, bringing healing to our families and giving our country with unity and wisdom.

Testimonials from past retreats

“The Women’s Ocean Retreat was one of the most profound healing experiences of my life. Being held by the land, the ocean, and the sacred container MeeshaKeena created allowed me to go deeper than I ever have with my ancestral lineage. I felt my grandmothers near me, guiding me, and helping me release generations of grief I didn’t even know I was carrying. The rituals in the cave, the circle of women, the ocean’s embrace—each part was a homecoming. I left feeling lighter, stronger, and more connected to who I truly am. This retreat is a gift for anyone ready to remember and reclaim their roots.”

— C.L.

“There are no words big enough to describe what this retreat gave me. I came with a quiet ache in my spirit and left with a deep sense of connection—to the women before me, to the Earth, and to myself. The ancestral healing work we did in the sacred cave opened something ancient inside me. I felt seen, held, and completely supported in releasing old patterns that weren’t mine to carry. MeeshaKeena holds such a powerful, loving space. This retreat helped me remember who I am—and who I come from.”

— A.D.

“This retreat changed something deep within me. I didn’t realize how much I was holding from my lineage until we entered the sacred space by the ocean. The work we did with our ancestors was powerful and freeing. I felt generations behind me begin to exhale. The cave, the rituals, the sisterhood—every part of the retreat was intentional and sacred. I returned home more grounded, more clear, and more in love with the path I’m walking. I’ll carry this experience with me forever.”

— Ann M.

“This was my first time making the voyage to the ocean, my first women’s retreat, and my first time truly honoring myself in this way. So many beautiful firsts happened here—including celebrating my birthday with the most loving circle of women. It felt like a true rite of passage—like something ancient was being awakened and witnessed in me. The space held by MeeshaKeena, the healing with the ancestors, and the connection to the land and ocean touched my soul in ways I can’t fully put into words. I left changed, empowered, and deeply grateful.”

— Courtney S.

“I was deeply drawn to this retreat, even though I didn’t know anyone attending. Something in my spirit just said yes. What unfolded was beyond anything I could have imagined. The group of women—who started as strangers—quickly became dear sisters. We laughed, cried, healed, and remembered together. The ancestral work, the ocean, the sacred cave… it all felt like returning home. I’m so grateful I trusted the call. This retreat was a turning point in my life.”

— Emily A.
